Gaur Gopal Das is a former Hewlett Packard Electrical Engineer and an Indian life coach/monk. He is a member of the ISKCON International Community (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). Gaur Gopal Das was born in Maharashtra, India, on December 24, 1973. He has a younger sister. He studied electrical engineering at the Pune College Of Engineering. His father passed away in 2009 due to Parkinson’s disease. After that, he chose to become a monk which made his mother sad.
Meanwhile, he stopped talking with his mother. But at his mother’s request, he resumed communication with him. He constantly wanted to apologize to him after becoming a monk, but his ego prevented him from doing so. Das has been teaching others to apologize for their mistakes and to forgive others since then.

Gaur Gopal Das has lectured at enterprises and institutions in India and overseas as a member of the ISKCON Chow patty branch. His talks cover issues such as happiness, success, and relationships. He once gave a speech at the global professional services business Ernst & Young in London about “The Monk Who Bought a Ferrari.” He’s also spoken at TEDx events and given talks at companies including Barclays, Infosys, Bank of America, Macintosh, Ford, and EY, among others.
