The renowned playback singer Udit Narayan added another illustrious chapter to his legendary career as he was felicitated with the prestigious International Buddha Peace Award and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Award for the year 2023. The grand award ceremony, a celebration of peace and humanitarianism, took place on August 27, 2023, at the historic Governor’s House in Kolkata. The event was graced by the presence of West Bengal Governor Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, who personally bestowed the awards upon the deserving recipients.

The ceremony is being organized in collaboration with the Myanmar Embassy and is scheduled to be held at the prestigious Embassy Auditorium Hall in New Delhi.

Looking back at the previous year’s ceremony, the International Buddha Peace Award and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Award shone their light within the distinguished premises of the Governor’s House in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His Excellency Hon’ble Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari graced the occasion and presented awards to remarkable figures, including the legendary singer and composer Anu Malik, Bollywood luminary Rajpal Yadav, and dedicated social advocates Vicky and Rohan Saxena.

Awardees from diverse fields, such as Member of Legislative Council Lalji Prasad Nirmal, Dr. H.K.
