A bit of tragic news has come out of the television industry. Raju Srivastava, a comedian and actor who spent more than a month in the hospital after experiencing a heart arrest, passed suddenly on September 21.

On August 10, the nation's favourite comedian was admitted to the AIIMS in Delhi. He passed unconscious while using a treadmill in a South Delhi gym, and his trainer took him to the hospital.

Now he was left complete Bollywood industry  Concerning Raju Srivastava, who has been involved in the entertainment business since late 1980s, and won praise after taking part in   The Great Indian Laughter Challenge's inaugural season in 2005.

Raju Srivastava appeared in Hindi movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya on the professional front.

Few people are aware that Raju Srivastava also served as the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council, where he relentlessly fought to establish a film city. We never forgot how he struggle with best livelihood.
